Default PLEASE HELP! part identification? What is this thing?

I was inspecting my footwells today and taking measurements for adding in some lights down there and i noticed this object right about the well on the outside lip which looks almost like an A/V input for a computer. Its on the driver's side near the door far below the light selector switch and steering wheel... please look at the pics and help me out.

Looking straight at it from about mid-calf level

Looking up from the floor

Isn't that the port for the OBD code reader?

That's the port to charge the trilithium flux-capacitor. This is critical to the operation of the anti-mass spectrometer. Don't want to f**k with that.

So it is easy to access. No reason not to have it accessible.

You know how you can system link two xbox 360's? It's kind of like that, except you connect two S197's together via the FRPP 15' ultra heavy duty ford-sync cable. Once both cars are synced together, you can race as a pair. The system logs the stats, and afterwords you can compare them to see who did the best.
