Hmmm, never knew that magnetic blackout panels scratch the paint. I'm thinking just to stay old skool and deal with the ice scraper then. Don't want to mess up the paint anymore than it already is. Plus I can just see it collecting dust in the garage or usless junk in the trunk. Now it has been mentioned, I think waaaaaay back, I might have actually tried the towel or cardboard trick. Had to be a good reason why I stopped lol.
Edit: I think it might actually stick too and is difficult to remove. Very vauge memories seem to be coming back.
