first off ! Do you want the car to drive or to collect ! Collect = KR ... Drive = GT500 all in all what are your plans with the ride ?

08/09 KR and 10 GT500 are basically the same. The 2010 GT took all of the stuff they learned from from the KR and put it to work in the new 2010. THey have identical power output, almost identical specs. The GT500 has a pinch more lateral grip due to upgraded tires over the KR and I forget what other minor tweak it has.

If you want exclusivity, get the KR (it will be a collector car) if you want DD get a GT500. A KR will demand a higher price regardless.

If they really are nearly the same car, I'd probably go with the King just for the sake of having it. Plus it looks better from behind, which is important for all the slower cars on the road.

I have a 2010 ......Like the general consensus says.....if you wanna drive the **** outta the car get the 2010....if you wanna drive the car occasionally and keep very few miles on the car....then get the KR....
Just remember the KR is nearly double the price of a 2010 gt500....there is actually an 09 here at lance cunningham ford the full price including markup is $122,000

The interior alone would make me choose the 2010 over the 2008 even if it's a KR.

Just drive both and see which one you like most. I've heard the 2010 GT500 is miles better than the previous generation. The interior is soooo nice in the 2010 as well. The previous generation looks much, much, better on the exterior though. Especially the KR, imo.

if you read the reviews on the 2010 GT500, they basically gain the extra HP via tuning and a widget here & there.

I would rather have the rarer GT500KR. besides, they look better than the 2010 models

KR, def, for value, and for looks. i just like the looks of the 05-09's as well. the kr is just a sicker machine and i would heavily advise you to get the kr
