Yeah I know, staring is impolite but with winter boredom and more time to comb over the car in the garage the mirrors are just getting to me in the flat black plastic. I've decided I want them painted gloss black to match the car. Got a pro painter friend who will do it but don't want to underpay him because hes the kind of "pay me what u think it's worth" kind of guy.

Anyway, would love to see some of your painted mirror picks and what you paid to have them painted. I'm doing the R&R myself.

Painting the side mirrors makes a big improvement in appearance! Cost me about $200 to have them sanded smooth, primed and painted.

I paid a friend at a body shop $60, but I removed, and prepped them myself.

 

don't have the stockers anymore but i just recently got the agent 47s painted, look WAY better then the stock ones

 

painted them my self.

 

Painted sure make the area look different...

 

Here's mine! I can't recall how much mine were as I had them done with the rest of the kit.... but $200 sounds about right.

I like the look of the painted caps. Like the new 2010 mirrors. I like that eleanor tho ^^
