Default Your mpg?

What kind of MPG's do you get most of the time?

State whether GT/V6, mods, and driving style (if not in siggy ).

I've only filled the tank twice so far. First was 90% highway when returning from the dealership I bought it at. 26mpg, some spirited driving, average 70ish mph. Second was mostly light city/suburban with short (<10 mile shots) interestate driving, 20.6mpg.

I get around 20 with my cai and 93 tune. Im going to add 410's in the near future and hoping to stay in that range. My driving is intown and highway. But while on vacation my car was getting 24. It is a automatic GT. Im satisfied with that.

27-30mpg mostly highway. I drive at least 60 miles a day for work going from 80mph to 50mph. 07 V6 5speed. K&N filter, GT take off muffler, synthetic oil. That's about it for the engine. Shift at 2.5k rpms...MOST the time...

I get about 17.5 MPG w/CAI before a tune. This is suburban driving, guess you can call it a mix between city/highway, speeds vary from 40-70mph, roughly 15 miles each way x2 a day for my commute to work. I don't drive much, maybe on the weekend to go to the store but that's about it. How you GT guys get more MPG than me is a bit baffling.. but then mine is an automatic so it probably eats up a little more gas.

GT here... no engine mods. About 50/50 hiway and city driving. I don't race it (like to goose it every so often) but I don't drive like an old lady either. I average 21 mpg.

First of all, the onboard is typically 1-2 MPG conservative. Hand calculate to find out.

My GT is not my DD and is used for cruising long trips. I average 26-27 MPG if I can keep it at or below 70 MPH (which I can't). Cruising at 75 averages 23-24 MPG. My engines' sweet spot seems to be around 1700-1800 RPM.

I have a V8 with Steeda CAI (not sure what tune. when i bought the stang the CAI was already installed). When I drive only in the city, I get about 18 MPG and when Im only on the highway, around 23 MPG. I only use 93 octane.

+1... I never trust the onboard stuff. Old skool is the way to go.
