just the halo effect doesnt really light up the grille and i tap the power to the fog lights so the fog light switch is actually my turn on/off switch

How do these compare to factory fogs when turned on? I assume the halo is only really visable when they're off (parking lights on)? Are they as bright when turned on as the factory fogs? (or brighter?)

My $0.02 is that the fog lamps on Mustang GT's are a signature feature that looks great when enhanced by the halo effect.

Does anyone know if there is a significant difference between '09 and '10 fogs?

I have only found kits for '09's. I assume they will not be compatable...
