2011 Drag Improvements on a 2010?
I have a 2010 GT and was wondering if the parts mentioned in the recent C&D article in regards to the 2011 GT drag improvement would be available/installable on a 2010.
Specifically:
"The improved EPA numbers are helped by the new Ford-built six-speed transmissions, which are identical in both Mustang and Mustang GT whether manual or automatic. Also, the 2011 model has three percent less drag than the 2010 through the use of better sealing around the radiator, a new front air dam, new covers on the underbody, aerodynamic spats in front of the rear wheels, and a new seal at the leading edge of the rear decklid. The last bit of efficiency was achieved via electric power-assisted steering, which also ties in with the new suspension settings [see sidebar]. "
Im an aerodynamics engineer so I find this extremely interesting
