I am planning on buying a 2010 next month if the incentives increase or atleast stay the same. Have two GB GT w/TP picked out just waiting.

You can get an extra $750 off by requesting a brochure from the Ford website. There is a coupon inside the small brochure Ford mails you. It took about 1-1/2 weeks to get the brochure after I requested it.

I am not a big fan of buying new technology - too many problems appear. The new engine cam timing feature has a high degree of problems and I'll others sort it out. Also, for daily driving I don't need 400+ hp, the 315 will do fine.

I got a great deal on my 2010 because it had 1,000 miles on the clock and yet no sign of use. Well worth the ~$8k in savings versus new and I can use that difference as justification for the single turbo!

For what it's worth, I just finished my review of the 5.0 (engineering test vehicle, but nonetheless): https://mustangforums.com/forum/6785486-post76.html

Hope it helps those on the fence.

Unhappy Factory order cutoff?

Does anyone know what the 2010 factory order cutoff date is?
I'm sure I will be just fine with only 315HP as a daily driver.

I would like to take advantage of the GT Premium discounting but am unable to find what I want in the existing inventory when searching 250 mile radius.

Because some are wise and will use the saved $8-10,000 on parts or other things more important than 93 horsepower.

I believe (based off other threads) all remaining 2010 mustangs have been planned. There is already one or two posters who had their orders turned down. I just got my 2010 and appreciated the X-Plan pricing + 2750 in rebates. This is car is a beast and I'm very happy.

I'm sure 93 horses is very relevant to those that track their car. This car is plenty fast enough for me to just enjoy. My advice is to order a 2011 if you can't find the car you want on the lot.
