Default Performance Wheel

Is the GT 500 Wheel going to provide me any improvement in performance I.E
Lighter weight/stiffer for my 05' GT than my 18" Fan Blade 5 spoke wheel?

When I put Marchesini magnesium wheels on my 916 ducati, it handled SO much better.

Searching for that added Performance Handling with more of an OEM look...

Thanks for your time

Do some research. Pull one of your wheels and weigh it, then figure out how much a GT500 wheel weighs, and whatever accompanying tire...

gt500 wheels are much heavier. But they are wider.

It's not a light wheel, but you will be able to fit a much wider tire on it. There are many other wider wheels that weigh less. Steedas as an example.

I went from the OE 18 x 8.5 fanblade to a GT500 takeoff (18 x 9.5). If I recall I gained about 2 lbs per wheel but I also went from a 235 garabage to a 275 stickier tire so hooking up was better. Handling improved overall.

That's affordable for a good wheel. Look at REAL racing brands like Rays. $1,000-1,200 each is normal.
