Adjusting Axle-Backs
I've had my SSS axle-backs on for about two weeks now (AWESOME sound) but I've noticed that the passenger side pipe had moved slightly upwards. It is just about touching the bumper cut out. The driver's side is fine. What is the best way to adjust this?
Thanks. I hate being a noob to this, but this is how one learns.

Don't bend anything. Follow Taco Bills how to, All you have to do is loosen the two bolts farther up near the H-Pipe (See link). Have someone center the pipe where you want it, and then tighten the two bolts back down. I followed this when I installed my Boom-Tubes. It takes two people, but it only took 5 minutes total for both sides.https://mustangforums.com/forum/2005...ll-w-pics.html

If you read the How-To in Tacobill's writeups, you'd know to loosen the axleback and the midpipe clamps and have a 2nd person center the tip while you wiggle eveerything, then tighten everything back up. If you bend any hangers you're just screwing up the overall fit.
Thanks. I don't want to bend anything. What if it's just me and I don't have a lift to put the car on? I put these on in my garage using a floor jack and jack stands. Can I adjust them from the over-the-axle connection?

With the rear jacked up or on ramps, you should be able to reach both the axle back clamps and midpipe clamps but the midpipe clamp might be a little tight to reach but not too bad. I had mine on Rhino Ramps. It helps to have a 2nd hand to center the tip as you adjust the joints but I used a towel wedged in between the tip and the cutout to maintain the gap. But it took a few trips back underneath to adjust.
