Default About to buy rims but i have a question

I kinda got rushed into buying rims since my tire was destroyed. I could fix the one tire but they all are getting low tread so im just gonna get rims now.

I think ive decided on chrome deep dish bullitts. Im fairly certain im gonna go with 18s (unless someone can change my mind with smoe good pics) but im not sure what to do with tires and TPMS.
Im going to go with 18x9s up front and the 18x10s in the back i think. Can i reuse the oem tpms from my 17s?
And what size tires should i look for? I want to go as wide as i can in the back without it looking bad. Also judging by the recommended sizes it seems i should have a 35 in the front and 30 in the back. Does that mean the tires are taller in the front then the back?

I'm 99% sure you can re-use your sensors; however you will need new bands. they can be purchased from a Ford store or aftermarket spot too.

yes if you had the same width tires all around but it sounds like you want to stagger. the 30 or 35 you mention is an aspect ratio. it mean 30% or 35% of the width of the tire is the height of the sidewall. ex, 255/35/18---255 is the width measurement/35 is the aspect ratio, meaning the sidewall height is 35% of the width/18 is wheel(rim) size.

sooo, if you had 255/45/18s in the front and 255/35/18s in the back the front would be taller.

i have the same size wheels 18x9(front) and 18x10(rear) and i like my setup. I have Nitto 555, 255/45 up front and Nitto 555R2s, 305/35 in the rear. i would have gotten 265/45 up front if Nitto made them

UPDATE: also if you start changing your sidewall height you may not like the outcome depending on how far from stock you go there may be a very ugly gap in your wheel well. i fixed mine by lowering the car. When i first put the wheels/tires on i had a bad gap and "fixed" it immediatly by visiting americanmuscle.com's lowering spring section.

100% sure you can re-use the sensors, but like lightning said you WILL need new bands. also they will charge you for the swap. most shops carry the bands if not just go to the ford dealer and get some.

Im looking at the staggered setup for sure. My mom may have a connection on tires for a little bit of a discount but i need to know what sizes to look for. Would a id like to get a 285 or 295 in the back if i can and i dont really care what size in the front as long as the tires look even (height and distance the protrude from the rim)

What would you guys recommend looking for?

Also cruizin concepts sells the same looking rims as AM but they have different centercaps and dont really have much of a description. Which would you guys recommend? I prefer AM but CC is a good bit cheaper.

I have deep dish Bullitt 18" rims with 255/45/18 front and 285/40/18 setup (Goodyear F1 Supercar tires). I really love them and they look awesome! I don't have TPMS on mine so I keep getting the "Tire Pressure Monitor Error" or something like that every time I turn on the car but I just hit the RESET button. I don't really want to spend money on items that I feel are not necessary to have IMO. If you want to go for the 285/295/305 setup in the rear than deff. go for it, just get mud flap if you don't already have them .

From what I've read I think the rims from CC are made by a different manufacturer than the ones from AM. I know that some people have had problems with the black chrome rims from CC peeling. Not sure if this was happening on the chrome rims as well but I have not heard anything bad about the ones from AM. Im in the same boat as you trying to decide where to order from. AM may be more expensive but I think they might be better quality.

I'm probably gonna go with AM. By the time I add new center caps cc will only be 90 or so cheaper. Does am still have a mf discount? I still don't know what I'm gonna do about tires though.

I run 265/50 and 295/45 on 18x9 and 18 x 10 AR Billets. You can take a look in my garage for pics. In retrospect, the 255s up front would have been plenty.
