While doing motor mounts and SLP Lm's this week, I;ll be checking into this. Just curious if anyone as done this with any noticeable results. I'm looking into my Hurst rattle at 3k - 4k rpm. I don;t believe its the shifter but drivetrain vibes coming up through the shifter.

There are two bolts on your Hurst at the base, make sure those are tight. That was the cause of my rattles.

Base meaning were the lower rod joins heim bearing or the stud bolt/nut at rear of shifter. the handle bolts are tight.
