NEW GTR HOOD
O.K. for those of you who haven't followed the RK hood thread, here you go. Test fitted Saturday and it should be out of paint by the end of the week. MMR CAI, and X-Calibrator going in this weekend.
I'm realy interested to see what results I'll get since the Ram air outlet drops right over the top of the air box

RE: NEW GTR HOOD
It was a 1/4 inch short on the front of the hood @ fender but I'll slot the hinge holes for that adjustment.
Over all it fits pretty good with good gaps. As light as it is, hood pins is a must.

RE: NEW GTR HOOD
I picked this one up from RKsport thru Ebay. They sell returns, shipping damage, minor dings or imperfections etc. This one had some pin holes in the fiberglass but nothing major. I got lucky with a nightOwl bid at $305 plus $120 to ship. Not bad concidering they go for $661 + shipping.
The same body shop that painted my spoiler and side scoops is charging me $350 (base/clearcoat) but prices ranged from $400 to $700

RE: NEW GTR HOOD
Yup... but you realy can't tell at the windshield base because it's at the radius body line. The front though is a straight run from the fender so it's a must.
