Default Best plugs for mostly stock motor

I'm around 70k miles and want to change my plugs. All I have is Intake/tune and exhaust. What plugs do you guys reccommend?

For a stock car you could stay with the stock plugs or go with an autolite plug.

I went with the one piece Champion 7989 plugs. So far so good.

Stay away from Motorcraft and Autolite. They are actually the same plug. Two piece design that will break very easily in the head, like your stock ones are going to do.

Go with a one piece Champion or Brisk. I'm going to be pulling my Autolites I put in last summer and replacing them with a one piece Champion.

Champions are 1 piece (7989). I put them in almost 10k miles ago and checked them about 2k ago. Run like champs! (no pun intended ).

If you've never taken the stockers out before. Follow the TSB found on the forums. Otherwise you may end up having the car towed to a shop or forking out cash to get the special tools to remove a broken 2-piece plug.

Autolite and FoMoCo are both 2-piece plugs. I think Brisk makes a one piece but not in the stock heat range because they are inteded to use in boosted cars.

Agree with the above. Champions, stay away from stock or autolites. I installed Champs last year with no problems. Runs great.

I say Champs...one piece, no breaking. I had trouble with the Brisks missing and so have a few others on here.
