I don't see a 3700lb car(With Driver) making a tad over 300 RWHP, running 11's. I can see a weight reduced, slick/skinny 3V with a nice set of Cams running 11's, but, not your current setup.

Nothing wrong with aiming for the moon. Good luck.
You're absolutely correct. That's what I have and fully expect high 11s this March, hands down. We've got the suspension tuned, the engine tuned and now it's just track time.

Laura is taking her time with adding a mod or two, doing a lot of track work, then continuing to upgrade. She's got a good plan for racing this year and maybe she'll chime in with details...

Just FYI, Bill Tumas from CJ PonyParts borrowed my lightweight Bogart drag wheels and tires and knocked out the following. Note we're not talking a lot of weight reduction AND Bill is 200lbs... Imagine the times with a 1.5x sixty:

Year: 2005
Type: Mustang GT
Power: 301rwhp/311rwtq before longtubes
Engine: 281
a. JLT Street tune by CJ Pony
b. UDP's
c. BMR uppers, lowers, sway bar delete, rear sway relocation
d. Steeda driveshaft
e. Pro 5.0 shifter
f. Bogarts with Et Steets and ET Fronts
g. BBK longtubes and X pipe with cats
h. FRPP axle back
Trans: 3650 (stock)
Gear: 4:10
Tire and Size: 26 x11.5 x 15 Et Street 275 40 17 ET Street Radial
Best 60 foot: 1.62 15 in Et Streets 1.69 17 in Et Street Radials
Best E.T. 1/8th mile: 7.64@89.35 15 in ET Streets
Best E.T. 1/4 mile: 11.99@113 15 in ET STreets, 12.22@112 17 in ET Streets

Launch at 5000 on 17s and 6200 on 15s. Shift every gear at 6200

Mmmmm, we'll see. With the parts either on the car or ready to go on the car, the only difference with folks that have hit 11s are the underdrive pullies and the front swaybar delete/radiator bracket. It would be great if she pulls it off while we're on the NMRA circuit this year....

Not right away Dave. Once the weather breaks, all the piled up parts are going on the car, then it's straight to the track. I am for sure mid 12's are going to happen right off the bat. I am going to squeeze what I can out of it before I do some weight saving.

I know there is more in the car with what I have on her right now. I just didn't get enough time to take her out before the season ended last year.
So I think with that being said, low 12s are very likely. And maybe, just maybe high 11s.

The first thing I would do first when I go down the weight saving route would be to consider K member and A arms, Bogarts, and sway bar delete support bracket.......and so on. I need to get rid of the rear seats as well, since they aren't used anyway. More room to put my drag wheels in the car then.

Just trying to do this bit by bit...............

11's aren't possible on this car with full weight and without FI or spray. I'd love to see it, but don't think it's possible.
