Can anyone send me the Sync version checker download file? Because my car's Sync didn't come factory installed the Ford Sync website won't let me download the version checker.

 

I have a 2013 base, I have bought the 09 sync kit, a 2013 sync module, and a 2013 map light with mic. Can anyone tell me what I need to do? There is so much much conflicting information on this, spread out all over the web.

Any clarification would be awesome.

You need to have the switches for sync for the steering wheel. As well as a AMC from a car with sync, or have the AMC programmed.
