Yeah, I'm currently running a custom tune made for current GO mods.

I went from the 3.55 to the 4.10. The difference is amazing. Also, I ran that TB for a while and am actualy gonna put it on my saleen one of these days (need to do some adjustments) but its not going to be the best bang for your buck. If you want the most impovement for your money, those underdrive pulleys and a nice Shaftmasters drive shaft would feel like you gained a whole lot of power also, with no tune.

The only meaningful thing left is gears and suspension. The delete plates and underdrive pulleys are just playing around.

I was considering the delete plates but don't you sacrifice some low end torque to gain those few extra ponies up top? I love my low end power so I'm not sure I wanna give those up.

I've never seen a dyno graph that shows a low end loss with those. Quite the opposite in fact.

I think the VCT has A LOT more to do with low end torque than the CMCV's do.

Also, if you want a lot better low end torque, try a BBR tune. I don't know what they do, but the low end is freaking crazy. It's not just a "touchy throttle trick" like some tunes (bama race).

Aside from cams or boost, we're still just playing around with 5-10whp per mod.

So I finally made up my mind. I went ahead and ordered a new 62mm throttle body and some Steeda pulleys. The throttle body arrived early and is already installed. The pulleys arrived today and will be installed tomorrow or over the weekend.

Any special notes or words of advice for installing the pulleys? Do I HAVE to have a air compressor? (I just moved and haven't setup my air yet.)

The funny thing is I can't stop thinking about the delete plates that I want so badly now. I'll probably order those in a month or two.

Been driving the car with the new throttle body for a week or so now and it seems like somethings not right. The car runs fine, idles fine, and doesn't throw any codes, but it seems like it needs further calibration or something. When driving it revs quickly (like it always has) but it seems to take forever for the revs to drop back down. Just during normal driving if I shift at 3k it sometimes takes several seconds for the revs to be back down bellow 1k. Sometimes it seems like the car idles at 1500 for a second, then drops to 1k, then slowly to 750. Any idea why it would do this?

PS: I got my pulleys installed and am very pleased with them. =D
