I agree they should be a little higher, atleast that is what you would hope for. There are plenty of guys around 320 with full exhaust and all the other NA mods and putting doen 320. So if you spend the extra money for cams you would want to see 340 atleast really. But sometimes we dont get what we want.

I doubt its the injectors, that would show up as the problem rather easily IMO. CR is a good tuner too so it might just be all you can get.

I talked to Chris and he is thinking I am having a slight slip in my clutch or because my pinion angle is off I am binding up...he is thinking it is more so the clutch tho...he said my torque is the biggest thing that is way off...on the dyno graph as you can see between 3500-5200 the torque curve flattens out which it should peak to about 4500 so he thinks the slip issue is causing me to loose 10-15hp and 20-30 ft/lb tq

If you look at the air/fuel ratio, it's unaffected in the area that the problem occurs. A problem with MAF voltage or throttle position would show a fluxtuation in air/fuel ratio even on the best of calibrations. The fact that he's getting commanded lambda and that he's making the right amount of power/torque up until the slipping occurs shows that it's more than likely not in a air/fuel delivery or calibration issue.

If you look at the slope of the torque curve up until 3500 and from 5200ish and afterwards, this is where it's NOT having a slipping issue. If you follow the line in your head, you can almost see a nice "hump" where it should make about 320-325RWTQ at 4500RPM. The slipping is happening as it goes above 300RWTQ, and stops slipping as the torque comes back down below 300ish RWTQ. The clutch would slip due to torque, and not horsepower. We all know they're byproducts of each other, so to speak. So in this case, it's not slipping and then grabbing "as it goes up". It's actually grabbing as it goes back DOWN.

yeah I definately think my clutch is going out....with just a tune/intake combo on a superflo (which is basically a mustang dyno) I put down 280/292 SAE (should have been close to 300/310 roughly on a dynojet) and trapped at 108.88 on ET Streets...after the cams, LTs, 4.10, and delete plates I ran my 12.41 @ 107.89 but I didnt have my hood on, due to it being replaced and repainted, and had a 20 mph headwind that night which gave me A LOT of drag...if I would have had my hood on and the conditions were better I bet I would have pulled off 12.20s or better at about 115mph...with a better clutch and my pinion angle corrected I wouldnt take 11.9xs out of the picture and hopefully the 340+hp and 320+tq corrected that I am wanting

When his issue is straightened out, he should gain another 10RWHP and about 15-20RWTQ.

I agree with every word you just said...I cant wait either to show him how he should have kept his car he has now with the same mods as me minus the nitrous...beautiful car too...I think it looks sooooo much better than the C5s do and so much easier to work on in my opinion as well as being a ton more reliable
