I had my stang windows tinted and the guy told me to never use ammonia on the tint, because it will crystalize the film and turn it purple. He recommended a damp shammy to clean the inside windows with. It does work best imo. no spray required.

eagle one's 20/20 window cleaner. it is amonia free and safe on tint. the haze you are seeing is on the inside of the glass and is a product of a few things. first of all the grease off any food that you carry in the car, and 2nd the oil that is in all the fresh air vents of a new car is probably dirtying up the inside of your window. ive cleaned mine many times now and ithas finally started to cut down after i stopped carrying my lunch in the car and after the air vents broke in.

Glad to know I'm not the only bozo having problems keeping my windows clean. I too am voting for Stoners which I picked up at Wallly World as well. My wife uses dish soap and water on hers and it does it a bangup job but you have to rinse it off and I'm lazy.

I think my biggest problem is before I got my '05, I didn't really care what my car looked like. Now I'm noticing finger prints on the outside and every bit of dust and lint on the inside. It's tiring. LOL

I can't imagine washing my windows with newspaper--do people really do that?

Well, you dry them with the newspaper at least. The black ink on the paper transfers onto the glass as it gets wet. Not enough to make it black--but just enough to put a nice polish on it. It works at least as good as RainX.

I've been using Stoner's Invisible Glass for years, works like a champ with a wad of newspaper gets almost anything off too including tape sticky stuff from the stickers on the window rather easily.

Just because no one has mentioned it, I use Invisable Glass. It comes in a spray can and works great. It's advertised in many car magazines and Im very happy with the results. You can get it at most any auto parts store.
