I got my 410's installed. here is my opinion
Finally got my 410s installed today by brenspeed. What a treat. When u put ur foot into she really takes off. I was rolling around 10mph and jumped on it and spun so they are definetly fun. As far as dd they are just fine. U keep ur foot out of it and its just like driving the car without that mod. Highway speed at 80mph was around 2950 rpm. so not too bad. 75 was around 2700 rpms. So my personal take on this if u have automatic and u want 410's then just do it and dont listen to all those people that think u need 373. Daily driving is still in the realm of normal with these gears. After they installed it i asked about a break in period of 500 miles since that seems to be the word of the mouth on here. And Chandler (brenspeed employee) said there is no break in period, wants the gears are installed then u should be able to go right to the track if u wanted. Thats coming from the horses mouth. Those guys know what they are talking about since they race and sell the parts. Im completely satisfied with my choice of 410s over 373. If i would have went with 373 Im sure i would have been disappointed. There is my take so if ur on the fence about it go with 410's. OH YEA U WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!!

I spent the better part of two years going back and forth in my head....3.73 or 4.10....3.71 or 4.10. Finally went with 4.10's. Within the first mile I knew I made the right choice. It is such an increase. Car feels entirely different. I also do not even notice the increased RPM's at highway speed.

I went with the 3:73's I'm s/c and have all can do now to get traction. After I got mine installed I did the same thing just went out and nailed it several times, then I started reading where everyone said they needed a break in, I now have about 20k on them without a problem. Good luck and have fun ! Can't wait for winter to end, mine has been stored since Nov. 1st.

4.10s are where the fun is
I install lots of sets of gears and most people opt for 4.10s.
I did install a set of 4.30s in a 97 cobra. That car was nuts. Those like to rev a lot more though. Haven't drove an auto with gears yet though, wonder how that is.
Oh, and to the person who said they wish FRPP made 3.90s, motive is starting to make some of the FRPP gears so it might not matter sometime soon. It looks like if your gear part number ends in a M then you have a motive gear set.
