thanks for the link to ethanol free gas stations. Not many in my state. Closest one is 50 miles away. From what I understand, ethanol doesn't burn cleaner and it's less fuel efficient. So, the only good thing it does is stretch the use of gasoline.

We have both available here, stupid me i couldn't figure out why my fuel mileage dropped i switched stations (trying to save a buck)and didnt think about the freaking alcohol, lesson learned only about .03 difference here.

Now i wish i could get 93 octane!

I have seen a difference between pure gas vs ethanol. This was years ago with my corolla. I filled up, back then pure gas at a shell station. Had to drive back to Wisconsin. Made about 1/3 of the trip on that one tank of gas. Every station after that was a blend and did not last anywhere as long. Had to constantly refuel. Its a goverment rip off to stretch fuel consumption and production by putting additives. I thought every station had to have ethanol gas since then?

This blend crap is nothing but a bunch of non-sense. A scam really, pushed by a PC agenda by "green freaks" taking advantage of this global warming BS spreading propaganda as a scare tactic to get their way ($$$).
I just filled up today at a local BP that has 10% Ethanol. Calculated the mileage (pen and paper method) and I got 21.5 in the city. Not bad considering they are putting Ethanol in the gas.
