I've had my car since Feb of 08 & my seats looks great! I use Mcguire's (I probably killed the spelling...) Gold Class conditioner/cleaner. It comes in a nifty spray gun & smells great. I use it once a week or 2x if I drive the car a lot. I love this stuff!!

Good luck, Mike

Once used Lexol on my red leather and the color came off on the cloth. Didn't seem to affect the leather but I now use the Meguiars wipes with no problems.

my seats show wallet wear, like an imprint in the foam...but other than that, they are fine.

Like the steering wheel leather, if you keep it clean, it will last and look better.

some products I have had good results with are lexol leather cleaner, 1einszett leather cleaner/conditioner, duragloss leather conditioner, 4 star leather conditioner, and Pinnacle leather cleaner. I typically vacuum it, clean it, condition it, and coat it with Optimum leather protectant...my leather looks pretty new @ 3+ years old and 30,000 miles

I hate leather. I have never seen leather seats and especially a leather steering wheel that didn't look like crap after a few years.

You just have to maintain it more. Try to always keep it moist by cleaning it every 2-3 weeks (Depending if it just sits in the sun all day).

You need to come look at the leather seats and steering wheel in my 2001 Conversion Van. They are real leather and they look great! Just like anything, if you take car of it, it will stay looking great.
Now the leather seats in my Mustang look good too, even though the seat part is the only area that is actually leather. The rest is made of pleather or plastic made to look like leather. I keep them clean and condition.....no rub spots here.

Yep, Ford is making the new seats out of Soybean.

Read about it here;

Nah, you definitely don't want cloth. I have cloth seats in my 2006 E-350 and I hate them! Water will stain them! I'd rather have vinyl.

I've switched to meguiars products now for the whole interior. Way less greasy than armorall. I actually think armorall is the reason I had some color rub off on the drivers side. Could just be the quality though.

I try to keep it looking nice, but not super worried because I want to put in custom leather later on.
