What's the name of the little cross-bar inside the dash vents that make the flaps work dependently? Where's the easiest place to get these? Two of my vents (the outer most) are missing the bar which is semi-frustrating. Only had 14,800 miles when I discovered this...are they prone to falling out?

Get the whole assembly at the junkyard.
They just pull out as an assembly and are replaced as an assembly.
When they 'fall out', where do they go?
Maybe they fall inside the vent?
Maybe thats where yours are.
Or the local car washes vacuum cleaner??

I promise there are none in the local junkyards. I couldn't find any SN95 Mustangs around here last year for parts, more less something nearly a decade newer.
