ok so i have a 2008 ford mustang V6, it is silver with black racing stripes, black grill and some minor goodies here and there...

This dealership down the road just received a friend of mines 06 mustang in as a trade in... it is a GT maual and it is DECKED OUT!!!!! it has full body kit including the hood, the onlything it doesnt have is an aftermarket front bumper due to it being so low to the ground....it would drag....

the dealership would give me 13,000 for my V6 on a trade... and i could get his for 16,000, i am thinking for 3,000 to get his car is a STEAL...

there is one problem... it might not be a problem but his car is BRIGHT YELLOW YELLOW YELLOW YELLOW, the thing SCREAMS YELLOW!!!

so i am coming to you guys before i go to the dealership today to ask if YELLOW is a gay/girly colour or if it is just show offey... i like to show off so i need your guys input, my car is silver and black so it is very subtle... and YELLOW pops

(i would also be able to keep all my blackout lights and my 20" black rims i have in my room to swap onto his....)

I have the same 08 silver and black you do and think it looks really tough! Having said that, the yellow doesn't seem like a step down at all. I'd probably do the same black stripes or some well placed black decals.

Those fog lights on your V6 is something I haven't seen before. Not bad. But yeah, go for the GT Hopefully not a ton of miles on it and all the TSB work hopefully has been done to it. As far as the yellow goes, there are some mf members who have yellow cars and they look great.

Yellow is a unique color. It takes the right personality to enjoy having a yellow car. Yellow has always been my favorite color and therefore I had no problems buying it. I love it. I can tell you, from the day my car was stock to today someone always compliments the color and the car itself.

I say go for it. Going from a V6 to a GT for $3000 is a steal.

Screaming Yellow is bad azz, it is not a "girly/gay" color and is unique. Just keep in mind you are going down a couple years, so some minor features are not available in the 2006, but definitely worth going up to a GT. I'm sure you can talk the dealership down in price too.
