Default shaftmasters 3.5 direct bolt in what took so long?

i just installed a shaftmasters 3.5 direct bolt in on my gt. this is a great driveshaft at a great price! why did it take so long for a company to come out with a direct bolt in?

I was kinda wondering that as well. I think David from Shaftmasters explained it on here, but I must not of been paying attention. I was also thinking "Why make an adapter plate, why not just make it correct the first time?"

Speaking of whats takin so long......"Hey Dave, am I gonna get my shaft shipped this week?" LOL!!!! Just bustin your chops! You told me of the lead time so no problem. Plus there is still salt and funk on the roads so it's not like I'm in a huge hurry. Aint my DD anyway.

One big plus here for Shaftmasters is they DONT charge your credit card obviously til it ships! NICE!

besides lowering your car is there any other benefit to the 3.5 over the 4" unit

direct bolt in not offered in the 4" as of last I checked, other then that not much.

torchred04gt, a 3.5" driveshaft should work. a driveshaft would be great with your cams, help wind up quicker. i installed driveshaft after hotrod cams and everything came together.
