I recently got a Trufiber GTS III hood in... all is great except that it won't connect to my factory hood latch. Do you need a aftermarket latch or am I just doing something wrong?

 

Have you adjusted you bump stops?
I would contact them 1st....

 

I figured out the problem... it was something stupid. I have never put a hood on so I forgot about the piece of metal that was attached to the stock hood that connects with the latch... transferred it over to the new hood and all is good.
