That's awful. Luckily there is normally a way to override it. It's such a gimmick.

There won't be a button to disable it but it may be as simple as pulling a fuse. Only time will tell. I hate skip shift.

I guarantee you the only reason they did this is to satisfy some stupid, idiotic governmental regulation on fuel economy or emissions.

That's absolutely correct. Luckily this technology has been around for a while now and manufacturers have always made it fairly easy to override.

I do believe he says it won't be a problem if you accelerate like a mustang should. I don't know about you guys but how many of us actually accelerate slowly enough that it would actually skipshift?
