Hello,

I am trying to replace the reverse lights on my 2010 GT with LEDs but cannot figure out how to remove the lower push pins holding the trunk liner in place. They are not the same center-pin lock retainers that are on the 05-09 models.

They are christmas tree pins.
Get a fork and remove the center two tines
leaving you with the two outer tines.
Slip it under the pins and use leverage to remove them....

 

Yea just get a lever with a forked end and pry them out. Ive had to do it a few times. Pep Boys sell one for like $6 if you dont have one. However you dont really need it, just makes life easier for other things too.
