about 60 miles, 1 hour. 3 trips. once to look and test drive, second time to pick it up, third time to get the rear view mirror compass/auto dim fixed. Dealer ended up ordering the wrong part, didn't get it fixed and I said screw it, not driving that far again lol.

haha you guys are so lucky. I bought mine off ebay. I live in Las Vegas and had to get it delivered from Peoria Illinois. All in all it cost me $1000 to get it delivered here.

First one (2006 GT). 10 miles and about 5 hours negotiating.
Second one (2008 Roush 427R). 25 miles and two days of negotiating... but I got a hell of a deal by the time I left.

I flew from Dallas to Houston (150 or so miles) and drove her back myself. I had been shopping for weeks and had almost given up, MCree ford in houston had the exact car I wanted and I had my insurance company haggle the price for me ( love USAA insurance...)

I drove a whopping 4 miles. Never drove it. I said "I'll take this one." Picked it up about 3 days later.

About 3 hours there, 3 hours back. An hour or so to test drive and do all the dealership paperwork. Found it on directford.com

Had the dealership truck it in from another dealer from across the state. My dealership is about three miles away. Had them install the FRPP handling pack, and GT500 reproduction wheels before I picked it up. I never test drove it. It's my fifth stang, and I already knew what I was looking for.
