Default SYNC 3.0 to 3.1 info

All,

I wanted to update my SYNC from 3.0 to 3.1 but SYNCMYRIDE states that it is a dealer only install. I just sent a PM to FordEngineer, but I think I may have found out more info after searching around. There is a discussion on the site explaining that the requirement for a dealer install is incorrect and a change should be coming.

Do Not Pay For The Upgrade. Wait for the fix that is supposed to be here today.

What changes are in 3.1? Just fixes or are there features? Mom and Dad's 2010 has it and I'm sure I'll have to update their car once the release is out.

The site just mentions some small changes for services like keeping you more up to date on what its doing. Maybe FordEngineer could give us the scoop on the full changes.
