Default Amazing Craigslist deal, I need opinions!

Guys, I was looking on craigslist like I do everyday, and I cam across a couple ridiculous deals from the same guy. The question is what should I buy first and will these cams work in my mostly stock 07 gt

first, he has a pair of adjustable tokico d-specs with the tuning key, they only have 5k miles on them...(owner switched to coil overs)

also, what I really want! he has a set of comp cams

heres the link....

I have a mostly stock motor, just a diablosport tuner, will these cams work in my car? You guys are super helpful, thanks for any advice

I'm no expert on cams, but these are blower grind cams, meaning they'll benefit you way more if you have a blower. It's a great deal for someone with a blower, but I don't think you'll see nearly the gain on a N/A car.

From Brenspeed's site, "STAGE 2-Mid to upper range cam for bolt-on blowers with high boost. Noticeable idle, solid power gains above 4900 rpm, requires spring upgrade. Best with 3000+ stall."

If you plan on going F/I, then it sounds like a hell of a deal to me. If it were me, though, I'd probably just buy the cams/springs and hold onto them for a while, get them installed with your blower. That's a great deal, don't let it pass you by if you're sure you're going F/I.

Running blower cams while N/A is not going to hurt anything. You'll still see some good gains and have a better sound. EagleStroker's cams are blower grinds and he's at 400 rwhp N/A.

I'd look to get them for that good price and try to re-sell them. I wouldn't use them without a modified tune from what you have now.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't mean to lead you to believe that blower grinds are not beneficial at all. Like SirKnight said, you'll definitely benefit from the cams, but not necessarily as much as you would with N/A designed cams. Once you go F/I, that's where the blower grind cams will really shine.

Regardless, a custom tune is necessary.
