Default TPMS and steering problem

I had ran over a screw and pierced my rear driver side tire. Took off the tire, put the spare on while I plugged the original tire the next day.Did not drive the car while the spare was on. Put the tire back on and my computer is reading low tire pressure yet all my tires are the right pressure. Did I do something wrong or might I need to get it cleared by a dealership? Also, since this has occurred I've noticed my steering seems very tight. When I try to turn I can feel the car kinda fight me to turn, just seems very tight. Is this problem have anything to do with the switching of tires or something else go wrong?

You may need to drive the car a few miles for the TPMS to reset.

The only proper way to do a permanent repair on a punctured tire is to demount it from the wheel and inspect the inside of the tire for damage. If it is okay, then use a plug and patch or a "mushroom."

I have no idea why the steering feels tight now.
