Default 15,000 mile maint. service. Opinions needed...

My 2009 GT is about to hit 15,000 miles. About how much would the scheduled 15,000 mile service be? Does anything really need to be done if I changed my oil 1,500 miles back?

What do you guys think?

I can't think of anything that would need to be replaced or flush. All the fluids should still be clean, and the joints and what not still tight. The oil is still fresh, so no point. Only thing I can think of is that CAFs (cabin air filters) are recommended to be replaced every 15k. I think that's excessive anyways. I will take mine out and leave it out when it's dirty

This MUST be your first car.

Other than ensuring you're oil is changed at the appropriate frequency (and I DO hope you do your own oil changes), maybe a clean air filter if you still have the drop-in and perhaps rotating the tires, there's really nothing you need to do at 15,000 miles. The dealer just wants your money.

Agreed, "scheduled maintanence" is mostly a bunch of crap, minus your oil changes every 3000/5000 or whatever you do.

Other than oil all is good. I do the oil changes at the dealership so I have a Ford receipt. I just had my first oil change at the 1 year mark with 806 miles using Mobil 1 syn 5w-50 and it rang in at 112.00 CAD. I only need one change per year so it's cheap cheap cheap.

I changed the fuel filter on my car at 15k which can be done by yourself pretty easily. It is not necessary at 15k, but I think it is recommended. Cabin air filter is easy to replace by yourself as well.
