Default Spoiler Delete?

I am thinking about going with the spoiler delete look. The problem is all I can find are trunk lids with holes from the spoiler, how hard would those holes be to fill and would it be noticeable after paint?

Those plastic plugs are rough, and are easily noticeable. You'd probably want to take it to a body shop and have it professionally filled.

Otherwise you can just try to find another trunk that has the spoiler delete and have it refinished and painted..

Not a fan of the plugs or carbon fiber and I have had no luck in finding a spoiler delete trunk. I am probably going to buy one with the holes and have them filled and painted. I am good with the mechanical side but when it comes to body work I am lost. I was hoping to get some opinions on how good it will look after being filled and painted maybe Pascal will chime in.

I am also going with the spoiler delete. I went to my local ford dealership and asked for the plastic plugs for the holes and I sat in the waiting room and waited for the guy to go get them. He came back and put several in my hand....I almost threw them straight in the trash that was right in front of me. ( no exaggeration) I looked at him like he was crazy. I then asked for a quote on getting the holes filled and painted by the ford body shop. Even more rediculous then the plastic pieces of garbage he have me.........$700 bucks!!

I dont know what he handed you, all the ones I've seen are very low profile small head and are not really noticable.

I'm leery of plugs. Sure, a body shop can put them in and do a paint job so that everything looks perfect--now. I wonder what happens after a few years. Do the plugs expand or contract so that the paint shows defects in that area? Where are you, Pascal?

I was just quoted $400.00 for fill and paint.
