I'm about to gut my 06 Mustang and install CLD tiles, closed-cell foam (CCF), and mass-loaded vinyl (MVL) on the floor and behind trim, and eventually the doors. I was planning on using 1/4 CCF on the floor, but am wondering if it will fit inder the console area. I may have to overlap MLV seams - will the console still fit back on if the seams are under it and I use 1/4? Also, I was planning on using 1/8 behind the rear trim areas and under the rear seat. Anyone use 1/4 in those areas with any success?
