Hello all I am new here and I am going over my order for and I am not sure to either get the 3:55 Or the 3:73 rear axle ratio with the 6 speed I am wondering if the 373 will be a little to steep for highway. Also any input ny any thing else would help Thank you

 

Get the 3.73, its completely worth it. The gas mileage difference will be negligible but the get up and go off the line will be worth it. I feel it's a happy medium for someone who is using it as a daily driver but also wants to go fast at times. Much more lively than the 3.55 and not as high as the 4.10's. With the new 6 speed ratios you will be running around 2000-2500 RPM at highway speeds.

I ordered the 3.73 with my '11. IMHO it is the only way to go. 4.11s and higher are treading into 'toy' territory and mine is going to be a DD. I almost went with the 3.53s but I know I would've kicked myself later (and installed 3.73s anyway). At least this way it's free.

Thats what i was thinking so far i am going with the brembo brakes pkg the hid lights the the side scoops and the premium pkg Not crazy about the rims on the brembo pkg though. I can always change those Not sure about the heated seats either the wife loves heated seats but I am hoping to not really drive this in the winter. Color is either going to be the Kona Blue with the White stripes or the white with the shelby blue stripes. I have been into trucks since 1995 and sold my Corvette and Harley and get my landscaping business started and now I am going to be selling Cars again.. So this is very exiting for me to finally have another Toy its been over 15 years since i had a car!!! Whats the DD pkg??
