Looking to purshase a catted X. What one of these would you recommand?
BBK: http://www.ninosport.com/BBK-Catted-...637-p/1637.htm
Magnaflow: http://www.ninosport.com/Magnaflow-X...48-p/15448.htm

Bassani: http://www.ninosport.com/Bassani-Cat...-p/bx46053.htm

SLP: http://www.ninosport.com/SLP-X-Pipe-...8-p/m31538.htm

I know they will sound similar. I am wondering about fitment and install issues.

What about Pypes?

I vote for Magnaflow tru-X.

I like my Bassani catted X, but sometimes I wish I'd gotten an MRT catted H.

I don't own one but I think they are all great options. All quality products, I think the cost should be the main issue. Glad to see there wasn't a pypes product listed.

I thought Bassani was quality, but I was wrong. Mine fit terribly, and on top of it Bassani never got back to me about my issues. Get the cheapest one and be done.

A big problem with the Bassani X is the slip-fit joint where it attaches to the over-axle pipes. It should be like the stock H, with a sleeve clamp joining the pipes. Removal of the Bassani X is a real pain because there is no room to get the X-pipe off the hangers and slide it forward far enough to free the over-axle pipes.

Doesn't BBK have a catted X?

What makes you say that? I plan on getting the Roush Extreme exhaust soon (similar to the Pypes mid muffler system) and I was debating between the Bassani catted X (stainless version) and the MRT catted H. I like the sound of X pipes in general, but the Roush catback sounds pretty good with the stock H, so maybe going with the MRT H pipe would give it a little more volume/growl.

Esch, I think I'd like the sound of an H better. It tends to be a little deeper....not to mention the fitment issues with the Bassani X.

I also made a catted MAC prochamber once. I cut the downpipes and clamped in two Pypes cats. I kinda wish I still had it because it was such a nice piece.
