Hoping for a better looking 2014 with a 5.0.

I'd love to have one. I really dig this new engine and I like a few other things about it. But there's this one part of it that's holding me back. Because of that I've been looking at Camaros a lot recently. Yeah, I said it! Those things are capable of stupid amounts of power N/A and insane when FI (especially when combined with an LSX). They've already broken into the 9's so yeah.

Saddle, why don't you let me borrow your GT500 for a while so you can have room for the new 5.0.

Yeah, if Ford redesigns one that entices me, I may bite the bullet too!

But just think......2011 gives you 3 years to play with the 5.0, then trade it in on the 2014....I'm not a fan of waiting or being patient. You never know what tomorrow may bring...!!

Your wife is keeping your priorities straight, and good for you to listen to her. The garage, err, house, is much more important!

Lol....I am just happy to have 1, 2 even, instead of 3, 4 at once. I have an addiction problem.

Darrell, I can help you here. I can take the '06 off your hands...you know it will be with someone that dearly loves it. I don't get another new car, and you have every reason to jump on a new 5.0!! See how easy that was?!?!

What's the RWHP on that 5.0? 360? If I strap a blower on mine and tune it to conservative 460 RWHP for $6,500, I'll be way better off than trading it in. It'll be cheaper and give me more power. I sat in the 2011 at a car show last week and I like my interior better, not to mention the ugly a$$ on the new models. To me, the only thing worth trading for would be a new '09 Shelby GT500. BTW, I have only 4K miles on mine.
