This is a pic of the car that they are replacing mine with (YAY!!!) It's on it's way today, should be here today or tomorrow.

So what do y'all think. Should I keep the stripes or lose them? They're just decals not painted on, and the car has not been clear coated yet, so I have to decide before I get the clearcoating done....

i would not keep them, just my personal opinion. i like racing stripes, but white ones would look so much better on that car...sweet car either way though!

I like the car just a bit better without the stripes. My opinion is that stripes look better on a lighter car than on a darker one.

Ditch the stripes, they are too far apart from each other and a vert looks better plain IMO. I also think the color of the stripes and the vert top is making it clash. The top is a good color. I seen a GT like yours and it looked great with that color combo. If you are going to stripe it, use the side stripes. They look much better and it doesn't clash with the top.

Black and gold together is a great combination, but like the other guys said, those are too far apart. I dont personaly like white and black together either. Looks like skunk stripes! [sm=smiley21.gif]

That looks better, I would go with that color combination than the stripes on the top. Are those stripes currently on the car or is that a Photochop?

They are actually on the car, the dealership that is sending the car put them on, but since they are just decals my dealership said that if I don't like them I can have them removed (which they SAY is fairly simple with a heat gun), then they would power polish and wax before clearcoating it.

It may give you a few new ideas, but I agree with most of the forum writers...

LOSE the stripes!!! The color, size and distance between the stripes could be greatly improved...

Or go with "No Stripes" altogether...
