Default Flowmaster on my 07 GT/CS

Looking to know if anyone has a sound clip or opinion on the Flowmaster American Thunder Axle-Back Exhaust on a automatic? I am looking to buy these from American Muscle this weekend. The stock exhaust is too wimpy.

Are they the regular Flowmaster A/T or the Classic? The regular one is a decent upgrade from the stock. It's a little louder. The classic is supposed to be more aggressive sounding and sound closer to the previous generation mustangs. They are supposed to sound similar to MACs. Here is a pair of the classics for sale on another forum.

SLP Loudmouth Axleback on mine. You should really consider these. They sound freaking awesome and they turn heads everywhere I go. I got them at American Muscle too. Great website to deal with.

Nice stang by the way, love the color The black stripes look great.

I also like the sound of the SLP Loudmouth's on the GT's. Go to Youtube and type in mustang GT SLP loudmouth exhaust and you will see a lot of videos!

Good luck with your choice!

I just installed GT500 gta mufflers. They look good, but I think they may even be alittle quieter than stock. Deeper sound anyway. I was hoping to get it alittle louder. I should have went with Flowmasters. There on for now.

I had the flowmasters on my 07, and while they were a nice upgrade and had a great tone, I thought they were too quiet really. I have MAC's now. Theyre the right volume but they drone. Nothings perfect I guess.

The gt500 stingers or the GTAs? I have the GTAs on my gt/cs and I'm 100% totally in love, enough to turn off the radio, open the windows and just listen...

As said above, the flows are a good upgrade from stock-louder but not too loud. They were designed to eliminate drone so they're reatively quiet on the inside which may be a dissapointment.

But, if you have someone rev it for you or drive it down the block they really do sound awesome from the outside
