Flowmaster on my 07 GT/CS
#11
It's the GTA's not the stingers. Someone wrote in one thread, I can't remember which one, that they have to break in. Maybe they'll get alittle louder. I'm leaving for work at 12:30, so there going to get a nice 30 mile highway run.

I have them on my 07 GT/CS. The have a great tone and they don't drone at all. The downside is that they aren't the loudest. I fixed that though, I added Kooks long tubes and a high flow catted H-pipe. Volume problem was solved in spades. So now I have great tone and volume, and if I revv it low it has that deep muscle car growl to it, and up high it just sounds angry and menacing. Not the cheapest set up if you are only looking for pure sound, (the LT's and high flow cats give some good power as well) but boy does it work.

Well I had the Flowmasters installed last night. What a HUGE difference from the stock mufflers. My ride finally has the sound I been wanting. Easy install and from what I hear they should only get better with age.

How loud is it in the car?? Any drone?? I'm still not really happy with the GTA mufflers, I wanted it louder but not to loud. Sounds to me that Flowmasters might have been the way for me to go as well.

That's true, amd if you havn't already get someone to drive it up the block for you. You're sure to be impressed

I plan on having my kid run it up the street so I can hear it. On the way home last night I heard something different/strange but I was not able to figure it out. By the time I got home I didn't hear it. It must of been something that needed to be burned out. The weather in NY is going solar this weekend so that means top down and alot of cruising. I will let you know how they sound then.
