Wha? Did you read at all? lol It was an aftermarket Fob, with an unmarked button for remote start that looks like most factory remotes panic button (red)

I could have sworn it was a fob that did not say start? Am I wrong? No need for name calling.

holy christ, you people don't read **** do you?

the fob that is used was a AFTERMARKET fob. not the original Ford fob. good god, please read a little bit before you allow your fingers to spew the tripe that is fermenting within your head

Contrary to popular opinion, many people do not have a Alarm system, nor are they all experts with their use. Hell, I had one in my last SUV. Even with the manual in my hands I could screw it up when trying to roll down the windows. Sometimes did a Remote Start by accident instead.

Mods, this should probably get locked. All it is now is just a stupid Drama show where people too lazy to read are chiming in without any clue about the backstory

A pic for the unwilling to read but just post.
idiots

It looks like its for the Space Shuttle.
Figure that one out without a manual
on the fly going to retreive a customers
car for the service manager...

just saying
its was just wront leaving the fob with
the vehicle for service at the stealership
where they are not known to be brainiacs

Cant blame the dealer for an idiot owner who dosnt head warnings given to him by manufactures/installers/ professionals. Like it was said it is fortunate that it was just a car that was lost other wise the owner of car that made the mods would be responsible for manslaughter.
