Should I Take it or Hold out????????

Should I Take it or Hold out????????
Ok I'm pulling my hair out and need some advice. I'm looking at a Black 2010 GT Premium (options: Rapid Spec 401A, Track Pack, Security Package, Comfort Package) and the deal on the table is $7500 off MSRP.
On the other hand I just read the motortrend review of the the 2011 GT and V6 and OMG! GT dyno'd at 435hp, v6 dyno'd at 308hp. GT 0-60 4.3, v6 0-60 5.1, thats right 5.1 from the v6. GT pulled 0.92g and the v6 pulled 0.96g, not a typo 0.96g! The 2011 will cost 1500 more than the 2010.
I test drove the 2010GT many times and honestly the 315 it is putting down is plenty for me, maybe it is just me but it seemed to be just enough and very fun to throw around. My last muscle car was a 96 z/28.
for 2010:
-$9000.00 less than 2011 with same options. Not including expected marketing adjustment!
-Great balance and very fun to drive
-2011 coming out in what May/June already has a waiting list
-435hp in a daily driver? hmmmm.......thats right I said it, haha
not for 2010:
-v6 is only 0.2 slower to 60 and the v6 pulls more Gs on the skidpad...bs
-2011 dyno'd 435hp and has a 5.0 badge, 4.3 0-60
-2011 GT is making all GM Exes and Camaro SS owners run and hide
-2011 GT MSRP only 1500 more than 2010, good luck getting one at MSRP tho
Ok from what i have read many of you love the drag strip and mod the **** out of your cars but that is not me. It will be a cold day in hell before I burn up $398(each) PZero tires at the strip.
Side Note: I was just thinking and who currently drives V6 mustangs....16-25 year old women right?!? how many 16-25 year old girls/women do you know that should be driving a 308hp, 5.1 0-60, 96g pulling V6 Mustang.....I don't know any....Very Scary!!!

I really want to dive a 2011 V6 with the Performance Suspension Option (basically a 2010 GT suspension) which is going to start at about $23000 MSRP for base car and this one option. Great gas mileage (you will love this when gas hits $4 this summer), fast, handles, fun, dual exhaust (what will this sound like with new Corsas? hmmm), six speeds. Take a look at Motortrend.com where they took one around a track. Wish my car handled that well!!! After that I could tell you what I think but I would wait until you drive this setup before you pull the trigger.
I don't know for sure but I think the 2010 GTs will depreciate much more quickly than the 2011s. In terms of new, if they are at $7500 off MSRP now, I can imagine that they will be selling for a lot less when they are sharing the lot with 2011s.
Have fun and good luck!

$9000 more is alot of money. If your financing a 60 month loan thats roughly $180 extra a month. If an extra $180 a month is a big deal to you, then I would get the 2010 GT. If the power of a 2010 GT is enough for you to be happy, thats really all that matters. Remember do what makes YOU happy, not a bunch of internet bloggers.
You should expect the majority here to tell you to get the 2011. Ever since word came that the 5.0 was being released the majority here started acting like the 2010 GT has herpes or something.

I was going to insta-vote for the 2011 until I saw that the 2010 GT is $9000 cheaper.
Damn...
uh...
$9k?
Well, a blower is like 5k...
hmm....
I guess you need to ask yourself what else would you do with that $9k? Spend it on your mustang anyway? Save it and put it into your 401(k) or IRA?
9k compounded at 5% interest is a hell of a lot of money at retirement...I don't know how old you but let's say you're 30 and are 35 years from retirement. Assuming 7% return annually, that $9k is like $96,000 when you retire.
Or...you could have the super cool engine TODAY.
If you think you'd just end up spending most of the extra $9k anyway, then obviously that calculation above doesn't do as much good.
I guess it depends on what you're really going to spend that $9k on.
Honestly, I think I'd choose the 2010 if the difference between the two is $9,000.
But maybe you could get a better deal on the 2011? In the 2011 subforum, there are a few guys saying that they got their 2011 at INVOICE, so uh...
