Default second time running thetrack, beatnew gto

my first time was bad, real bad, my best time was aruond mid 10s, well my second time i was happy becase i got a 9.6 on the 8th, a 9.7, 9.8 and a 9.9. But people where making so much fun of me. io would here them as i was walking by. it was really embarrising because i kept getting beat. i got my best times in the end of the night. so i was really mad and really tried to put it down. i would get reaaly good reraction times, better then everyone i raced put all i would do is spin the tires. i think i need new tires, i think tahts the promblem.
but my last race i shut them up when i took the 400 hp 6 speed gto baby. oh yea. but the ggod news is monday i will officialy be a buisness onwner, in going to be a perfomance distributer and shop. should have my all wheel drive dyno in 6 to 87 months. so now ive raced a lot more. nand im going to get the best prices through me, the next time i go to the track if im not running in atleast tghe low eights imdumping the car in the river. so what i need is suggestions. i will have acces to what ever i want so what should i get. please help. i dont want to embarres the car or mkyself again

Lets see, Saleen SC, 4.30 gears, LT's, TB, MT et streets, drag shocks, NOS, forged internals, and that should put you in the 11's. Hey are you offering any discounts to MF members?

Yes, he mentioned 1/8 mile track.
Blackhorse, it seems to me you need a little more practice. If your car is bonestock with street tires you should be doing around 9.0s in the 1/8 mile. A few bolts ons and drag radials should put you well into the 8s.

ya, I think the first thing you have to do is learn how to drive your car. Learn how to launch and shift fast and crisp.

What RPM are you launching your car at? What RPM are you shifting at?

What were your 60ft times? I'm only guessing, but they were probably in the mid 2's?

it sounds like you need more practice. try to go on a test and tune night. the local track here has test and tune and for 10 bucks you can get about 20 passes in. its ok if people talk trash, your just setting them up in the future to get their feelings hurt when you bust out a mid 7 second pass. thats with some mods and drag radials. what rpm are you launching the car at? did you turn the traction control off? was the clutch getting hot and slipping? alot of factors can influence those ets. good luck
