Awesome looking hood! That's the hood I'm going to get soon. Now if I could just get off my butt and order it. By the way, how much did it cost to paint the stripes on your car?

Thanks guys!

TraceDaddy - I was really looking at your hood. That was my other hood scoop choice. That b*tch is MEAN looking!

2007 CalSpec - The original cost to do the car in Matte Black was between $1500 - $1700. But, it's an odd story with my stripes. These were done for free. The body shop owner was so disgusted when he saw how the matte paint started to shine (after 2 1/2 years) that he called the PPG rep and told him to come see what had happened. The rep told him to repaint the back the color of my choice and PPG will pick up the tab.

Vectorpat - I LOVE it! It shakes a little at 70 mph, but only on the drivers side and only up by the cowl. Does yours do the same? I'm getting my Shelby pins installed on the 24th.

Deekum - Thanks. I had a tough time with my computer not reading my camera. Damn things. I gotta get some now that I just installed the summer Halibrands.

iROK - Here's a side shot with my winter tires/rims. Ignore the dirt....

Did you get the ram air kit to go with the hood?

No. It's just open. To give you an idea of where the opening is on the engine, it hits right where the factory throttle body sits. So, when it rains, the water doesn't really get to anything. I also have a BMR chassis brace and it clears that by a good inch.
