a 345 rear tire would be sick! you'll probably have to measure it yourself and mock something up to test it out. the only S197 I saw with a 345 rear had a pretty wide body kit.
yeah, i'd rather pull the stock fender than replace it or cut it and throw bondo on it...
i'll talk to my buddy and see what he thinks about measuring. 315's fit back there... a 345 with the right offset should too. ideally, you get a rim with the same amount of offset so the inside sits as close as a 10" rim, so you're really just going out.
not sure if he can do that much of a pull without requiring a repaint though. i know the paint can sustain some movement with rolling and a slight pull w/ heat applied, but i doubt 2-3"
I agree I wouldn't want to do all that body work with if pulling will work. if it's like fender rolling then heat everything up with a heat gun to make the paint soft so it doesn't crack while you're tugging on it.
Thing about fender pulls is that it will probably look like *** on our cars
true... there is already a decent "lip" coming out from the fender. i'm wondering if it'd look ok pulling out the flat edge to grab an extra half inch of clearance

im curious to find out the same thing. i'm not willing to bet my fenders to find out though.
