Hi,

Today I washed my car today i use a karcher those machines with water pressure. I didnt put it on the gas or on the engine just the car.

After finishing i went to play soccer and saw the check engine light, Used my sct and it showed P0191, I did a search in google and found Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor, I dont know where to start checking, I feel the car good is responding very well but im not using it anymore until i know i can use it safe.

My warranty over on april 16th, does this is covered by warranty, should i take it to the delearship ?

Please tell me where to start for this.

i have replaced a handfull of frp's that have failed. take it in and get it diagnosed and fixed under warranty, it will cover it.

I cleared the code with the SCT yesterday, the check engine is off now, I havent see it on after that.

Im ok or i should take it to the dealership ?

Well you cleared the code, Ford will have nothing to go on. If it returns, yes I suggest taking it in under warranty......

 

Yeap since i cleared it, it hasnt come back again, I will monitor it.

Since the code appeared after washing the car, what can happened while washing it, maybe some water get into something ?
