Default Vortech SC w/Intercooler

I also have this ? in pipes boost and juice, but am getting no traffic, and need to make my choice soon, or I will miss the boat.

So, I have a stock (SLP Loudmouths) 05 GT manual, and have decided (I think) to get the Vortech w/Intercooler (I can get it for $4000 delivered, is that a good price?).

1st off, what else should I change if I get the SC, or is it just bolt on and that's the only mod? (No thermostat change, yadda yadda yadda). It already comes with a new fuel pump and injectors, so what else is there really to change? Also, how much can I expect to be raped for istallation at a local speed shop? Also, should I go with the tune that comes with it, or pay for a custom tune? Any insight on this process would be appreciated!!!

Also, does anyone have one installed, and how fo you like it??

I doubt you need anymore mods after thta sic vortec...but most shops will do instalation at around 150 an hour which kinda sucks...but i was wondering how do you like you slp loudmouths becasuer i was going to choose from wither that or the borla's or magnaflows...but i heard that these are really nice for a good price

all cars aren't equal standard tune is good, but custom will get you more bang for your buck, If I were you though I'd go with a twin screw setup, more efficent, more power, runs cooler, easily upgradeable. Look at KB or Saleen, before you make your final choice.

Not to mention there self contained, no tapping the oil pan!

Wow! $150/hour is WAY too much money for that same work in MD. When I had my I30, I put in a Stillen supercharger for a flat fee of $65/hour, cost me as much as the supercharger LOL
