2010 Mustang GT Now... or wait for 2011?
As some of you know, I am interested in buying a new mustang. Ive been looking into a 2010 mustang GT right now since I can get a pretty good deal on it (23.5k for the base GT). However with more and more research the 2011 just seems like it is so much more powerful etc. I do not feel I would be able to get it for around the same price, so I am thinking if I do wait for the 2011, I would pay closer to the MSRP.
What do you all think? Does the additional savings with the 2010 make it the better choice than the 2011?
Thanks!

yes, the 2011's will be more expensive. given the hype and demand for them, you won't get as good of deal versus a 2010.
if you can afford the 2011 and can wait, i'd go for the 2011. even better, i'd say test drive a 2010 and see what you think. maybe the 4.6L will be all the power you need.

you won't get a price anywhere near the 2010 for a 2011. they're offering insane prices and great financing for the 2010's. the 2011 will be a much better car but it just comes down to how much you're willing to spend (plus if you buy now you'd get to have the 2010 all summer).
I'm not personally in the market, but i myself would wait.

It really depends what you can afford. The difference in price is going to be big compared to the deal you can get. On top of straight up price, you also have to consider taxes on the larger amount, and if you're financing, the interest rate you will pay on the 2011's.

There are no mark ups on the 2011's.
Look at Cars.com there are already over 100 listed at MSRP or less.
In fact I have been told from a reliable source there will be a small rebate available and 0% financing I believe for 36 months.
You can got to just about any FORD dealer and get a 2011 any way you want it for a few hundred over invoice no problem.
