Default Installed BBK 1736 CAI and got a Code..HELP!!

I decided to get the BBK 1736 CAI which throughout the BBk site and AM site clams it does not require a tune. I got a 07 GT/CS and the only other mod is Flowmaster mufflers. As soon as I installed and took my first ride I noticed a huge improvement in power. I drove 200 miles this past weekend and everything was great. Took it out this evening for a 10 mile ride to pick up the brats at school and the check engine light is on. I emailed back and forth the BBK tech with pictures and videos and he said that the PVC tube had to be forced on tighter to the casting. I did that and now I got to disconnect the battery again and let the sensors reset. I guess I will find out tommorow if that fixed it. I know i slide the PVC tube over the raised brass slot the first time. Also why did it take over 200 miles to throw the code....Any other ideas or is BBK full of it????

there probably right, that intake does very well with no tune. I used to run it, and so did my mom. Would help if we had the code. You can get the reader from autozone to use for free.

Imagine how that 3-5 RWHP gain would compare if you had a tune to make it more like 20-25...
